Loose Wood

City Loggers provides delivery via a dump truck made directly to your door. The wood is unloaded by tipping it off the truck to either a predetermined spot on your property, or right on your driveway. As part of the ordering process, clients are required to ensure there’s an accessible space for our trucks to offload your firewood. 

All loads for our firewood orders get dumped into the back of our trucks as loose wood, therefore the load measurements won’t always be exact. But rest assured, we aim to provide quality and value with each delivery by giving more wood just to be on the safe side. We pride ourselves on our timely deliveries, flexible scheduling, and the exceptionally high quality of our hardwood firewood.

Please Note:

Delivery Policies

Inaccessible Drop Spot: If the driver feels the predetermined drop spot is inaccessible, or unsafe for delivery (ie: may subject your property, our property, and/or employees to possible damage), he/she reserves the right to change the location. The driver may drop the firewood in a safe and easier to access spot to prevent possible damage to properties or individuals. 

 A $150 fee will be applied to your order if our driver is held up or endangered by unsalted ice and/or uncleared snow in the winter months.

**Please Note: All orders are booked based on ideal weather conditions and no mechanical issues. Should a weather event or mechanical issue arise, the delivery may be rescheduled. We accept all major credit cards, Interac e-Transfer, and cash on delivery (C.O.D.). Credit card orders must be prepaid at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date to receive your order. Cash on delivery payments must be left in an envelope for the Driver to pick up when they arrive for contactless delivery.

For clients who prefer Self Pick Up from our farm, kindly be informed that the loading process is the client’s responsibility and any potential damage to their vehicle during this process is also assumed by the client.

City Loggers is not liable for any potential damages arising from the loading process. City Loggers disclaims any liability for damages that may occur during clients' pick up orders, whether self-loaded or assisted.

Pathway Accessibility

• Clients assume responsibility for ensuring adequate space and suitable conditions for our truck to deliver the wood.
  
• Clear the drop spot and surrounding areas.
  
• Ensure the driveway and nearby areas are free of cars to allow the truck to back in.
  
• Clear snow and throw down salt to address any ice in the winter.
  

Unloading Process

• Our truck driver requires a clear and safe pathway to the drop spot.
  
• The wood is unloaded by tipping it off the truck.
  

Loading Assistance:

• For orders exceeding one face cord, two face cords, or the bushcord
  
• Skid steer loader available for loading
  

Requirement for open trailer or truck with open top
Appointment necessary

General loading hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Weekends: Depending on staff and yard availability, so please book ahead over the weekend.
